I can remember when I was little going to the creek near our house and playing in the water I could have done this for hours. Well I can't give my children the opportunity to play in a creek near our house but yesterday the boys had a great time playing at Corbet's Glen. This is only about 20 Min's from our house right off the express-way.(You would never know)
I needed time to myself after studying for NRP on Sunday and the kids really wanted to go somewhere fun. So Chris and I decided to go the park with lunch from wegmans and then off to the water.
Andrew had been asking if we could go. This became one of favorite spots to last summer. It was so great to watch as they tried skipping rocks and climbing the falls. Sam loved the water and was soaked from head to toe. Josh was finding the biggest rocks to
toss in the water along with the best tree to climb. Andrew was in his glory, he almost cried because we were leaving.
It was so awesome to watch the kids have so much fun. I can't wait to go back and see what the fall will bring. The kids will be so excited to the color changes.
