The Holiday times

I just love watching the kids at the holidays. They just love everything. We put up our Christmas tree this week and decorated the house. The giggles and excitement was in the air. I really wanted clear lights but the boys and Chris wanted multi lights (so yep I lost . ) The advent calenders began and they are so excited to see what they are getting. On Friday we went to the tree lighting in town and the kids had a blast. Josh went to a birthday party sleepover and decided that he was OK not going. I felt kind of hurt because he was really not into it but realized he is getting older. I felt much better Sat. morning when he asked where I could take him to have his photo taken with Santa. Oh yes and the fun didn't stop here we were getting ready for the holidays at work. (p) and I had a great time decorating there too with our Christmas music. Best of all is the Christmas holiday shoes they have out. What ones shall we wear and where is the question.
Now to make some christmas cookies the peppermint ones.

Catch Up

Were has the time gone. Lots have happened in just a short few weeks. Andrew saw Dr. A and had gained weight and grew. He is finally on the 5Th percent tile and on cloud nine over it. Josh is well Josh and you have to love the trash near us. Hopefully Josh will learn a lesson(but we will just have to wait and see). Samuel is loving school and is coming up with something new creative ideas.

I have been very busy with work and the boys. It has been crazy in baby land. I have been trying hard to work out everyday which was hard because I was very sick. But it is starting to pay off because I can notice that my face is slimmer.

Oh yes and the first snow came and has ever since. The best part came when I was in my way to work and 3 miles into the12 mile drive the windshield wiper went flying of the car (driver side of course). I drove the rest of the way cursing out Chris. But after work I went and had someone put one on that new what he was doing.

I have only 2 more days of work before I am off for a week and will enjoy Thanksgiving with the family.

We all have been enjoying the fall. I have to say this is my favorite time of the year. I love the smell of fall, colors and the crisp air however I hate that the s--- is right around the corner. We have done so much this month. We have our traditions that we always do and then try a couple of new things each year. I think the kids will agree that this has been one of the best so far. Chris and I even dressed up. I don't think that we have done this in forever so we were like little kids, I got to pick so Chris was in big trouble.

Oh yes to go with the wonderful fall came the wonderful colds which I have had for a couple of weeks with heart palpitations. So I saw Dr. on Friday and they did a couple of test and we will go from there.

What a week

They Boys just can't get along at all. Andrew stated several times this week that he is all done with Josh and really needs to move out. So that just starts everything and then the next thing you know the fist are flying.

Andrew nasty rash is back so back to the doctors he will go.

Sam awoke one morning at 430 am yelling at Andrew to get out of his bed now. Not one person woke to this besides me. Andrew was like a log doesn't even remember him yelling. My husband and other son clueless.

Weigh in day is today and I had to weigh myself 5 times because i thought that the scale was lying. Yes 3.3lbs today!!!! I just wanted to eat junk food all week so it makes me feel better that I didn't. Today Court and I leave for PA.

Life as a mom

Things that will never be forgotten

-My new line to Sam is- Sorry you have two older brothers it is not going to work, one has already tried something like that before.

-The Children at Walmart playing catch with the cans of veg with the glaring eyes. Oh yes and the whining at the store

-Children breathing in front of you at 5:20 in the morning. Then saying mommy I am ready to eat.
Children needing just one last word at 10:50pm.

-3 boys in the car that can't leave fingers to themselves or keep there mouths shut.

-Repeating of words that others have said not knowing what they mean.

-Friends ringing the Doorbell all day and night.

-Oh yes and children talking to others out the car window when the car window with it stopped. Thank god for nice firemen.

-The number one thing is having another parent yell at you and your child.

Yes I realize that most parents have all of this(without it we would not have our stories)but I think that my patience has expired this week. I have came to my limit and can't wait to go away for a couple of days with good friend.

Working Hard

I have made it to the 15 lb mark this week. I feel great and enjoy doing it however I am so mad that Chris is not doing it with me.(LAZY) Thank god I have my good friend Courtney with me or I would be lost. I have a goal to be 10 lbs lighter by Christmas.

Well I have been trying to figure out what I can do to treat myself and nothing has jumped out at me. I have a little something in mind for 20lbs but that is all.

All in A Week

The start of September brings many new and exciting things. Well where to begin is the question.

Sun- Had a great day with my favorite niece on her 5Th birthday. She wore my dress I gave her to her 1st day of kindergarten. YEA!!!!! Aunt Jen scores again.

Mon Labor Day- Oh yes getting ready for fall. I had a brilliant idea to take the screen out of the window to clean it and then..... Yep you guessed it the f***king thing would not go back in. So I called 911 fix it (my dad) and after I spent many mins. trying to get it back in it took apx. 20secs for him.

Tue- I was supposed to work and got called off on a SUNNY 80 degree day in NY. Could not have been a better day I had so many things I got done.

Wed- Oh well I do love my job but man some people need to learn how to work outside of the box. The best part of the day was SW was not there. YEA~!!!!! Well it was going OK till about 9pm when Andrew decided to share with me this rash that he had. I then was so obsessed with that dam rash that I had to look up multiple things till 1230 in the morning. Oh yes the came the call at 830 in the morning will Andrew can not go to school till he gets a shot. Yes this is not scheduled till 9-15 so after a long discussion I had to have the doctors office fax something over to school for them to say that he would be seeing them on this day and time at with this doctor. They must have been waiting for hell to freeze over Thur- Oh the big day for the boys the start of school. The question came with what to do with Andrew do we send him to school or not because the rash. We decided to send them and then to see the Doctor. Sam went to school with me and we meet his new teacher Mrs E. He was very quick to tell her that he was not coming back. That was till she motioned the playground. Then he changed his mind.

Fri- Well lets see not much happen except this was Sam first day off UPK where he was on his own. Then I spent time with my girlfriend in the evening and such a great time. We gave the new meaning to uplifting the girls.

Sat- This was great we did our walk in the fastest time ever(YEA!!!!) Had a great day at Hang around Victor Day except for the rain. I was getting ready to go out with the girls; when Andrew was frantic that I had to come a look. His rash has now spread to his back and arms and was starting to blister and burn. So off to the ER we went. They are really not sure what is going on. It was so nasty they cultured it gave him a rx and sent him home. So here we sit with no answer and the rash getting worse. GOOD TIMES Well I missed the girls night to have a not so exciting night with my son but a Mommy's work is never done.

Relaxation

I can remember when I was little going to the creek near our house and playing in the water I could have done this for hours. Well I can't give my children the opportunity to play in a creek near our house but yesterday the boys had a great time playing at Corbet's Glen. This is only about 20 Min's from our house right off the express-way.(You would never know)

I needed time to myself after studying for NRP on Sunday and the kids really wanted to go somewhere fun. So Chris and I decided to go the park with lunch from wegmans and then off to the water.

Andrew had been asking if we could go. This became one of favorite spots to last summer. It was so great to watch as they tried skipping rocks and climbing the falls. Sam loved the water and was soaked from head to toe. Josh was finding the biggest rocks to toss in the water along with the best tree to climb. Andrew was in his glory, he almost cried because we were leaving.

It was so awesome to watch the kids have so much fun. I can't wait to go back and see what the fall will bring. The kids will be so excited to the color changes.

Catch Up Time

Here is what is going on at the Dane House

We came back from one of the best vacations ever (I have to say that it rates right up there we all had such a great time)
We had a week full of birthdays, doctors apts and soccer games. I can't believe my baby turned 4 almost 2 weeks ago. Sam only wanted a scooby cake and to eat it with Gabe so that is what he got. Then we had a big party for him and me with family and friends on my birthday. He was even willing to share with Janna. Then this past Sat Chris finished out the celebrations and we had more cake, I am really not sure if I will ever order from wegmans in Canandaigua again. 2 out of 3 cakes in a week were wrong and the last time the lady who brought it to me was saying sorry before even giving me the cake.

The boys are both finished with soccer till the fall and I am so glad I have a little bit of a break. I loved having them play, but I hated to be there every night of the week.

Andrew and Chris both made out OK last week with all the hospital stuff. I felt like I spent almost everyday at the hospital between those two and work. Sam goes for his 4 year old check up tomorrow. Oh yes Andrew has received permission to have a milkshake at least 3 times a week to help him gain. For once I wish someone to tell me to try and gain.

Sunday I started weight watchers again Courtney has agreed to start with me so please know I will be 20lbs lighter by Christmas

I will add some new photos soon I am having trouble uploading now

FUn in the Sun

Well today Chris came to join us at camp. Sam really was not into swimming but today out of the blue he decided that he was jumping in the lake by himself. After that he was like a fish and wanted to go jet sking. (he is so crazy)

After several days later of fishing I finally got a fish(YEA!!!!!!) Of course not big enough to keep but that is ok.

I can't even believe how good the kids are being I think they might be druged.

Fishing day

Yesterday was our first full day at McClears. I awoke and went to get my fishing license, everyone said that the DEC was bad this year so I broke down and got my first one ever. This was a big pain because I went and the lady took my NYS driver license and put everything in the computer paid my $40 and left. Well I was talking with my dad when I got back and he was like $40 no way what the hell kind of license did you get. Well turns out she charged me for a nonresident of NYS, could it be any more plain I gave a NYS driver license to her.

Well Sam will be 4 in 5 days so now Papa says time for your own fishing pole. SO my mom and dad got him a new life jacket and pole with a tackle box.

We all left for our fishing on black lake. The kids were so good about waiting for there turn while there poles were getting ready. (not sure if they belong to me or not) Andrew was the first one to catch a fish. How ever it was an illegal size bass so back it went.

Everyone manage to catch a fish even my mom who never fishes minus Sam and I (I helped Sam so I really was not fishing).
We had a great day and the weather was Sunny and HOT. After our long day of fishing I needed some ice cream. I will never say anything else about an ice cream place being so close to another one at home again, it took us about 25 mins to find one.

Well to go with everything at 4 this morning we were awoke to a nice thunder storm. Andrew, Josh and I were in the tent and we stayed dry thank god! I had a great nice sleep after because I love to sleep when it rains.

Summer Day Blast

I thought that today was going to be a very long day however within a couple of hrs of the kids being gone to summer rec. They became a new person.

At noon Chris and I decided to take the kids to seabreeze for some water and rides. We had such a blast. The kids reminded me of when I was little with my sister and brother. The two older boys rode almost everyride and what Chris or I would not ride they rode togeather. It was so nice to seem them laugh and talk about how cool there new excitment was. Chris and I even got to ride a couple of rides togeather with no kids.(It remind me of one of our first dates)

Oh yes to end our great trip on 490 Sam decided to open the door (just a crake). Andrew says oh yea forgot to put the child lock back on. After we got back I took Josh to Darian Ann to get some Icecream for all of us. We always stopped for icecream after a vist to seabreeze when I was little so it was a memory that we pass down to our kids.

What is wrong with this world

I just really don't get why things happen in this world.

I can count more bad things than anyone person needs in a week

The top three things
1. The lady across the street who had it out with most of the people in the complex. Who is to say that everything she does is right. Please Feel to call CPS what goes around comes right back. (I can tell you all about this)

2. For the person who can't account for the money and chooses to pay herself with ours because she is to lazy to get a job. Please look up help wanted.com, oh that is right you can't get one because you steel. Thank goodness you are gone!!

3. Love the school who can't state things and will pay for 3/4 of the kids to go to UPK and good start but not the rest.

Thank goodness I can also count more things that have happened this week than my fingers

1. The kids have started summer camp and they seem to like it. Oh yes and Sam leaves me for two hours everyday.

2. Someone has been missing at work making it easier to go to work. Also knowing that I have only 2 weeks left before I leave for vaction and only have 2 days to work with her. Yea yea!!!!!!!!

3. I have not had any down right nasty fights with you know who in 4 days (makes my life easier)

A Year Later

I have MANY THANKS to my family and friends. I could not have gotten through the last year without you by my side. You all have been their when I have need you most.

-Thank goodness for my children who made each day brighter and gave great laughter. I was able to say focused and move on because my children needed me most.

-To Chris who had to listen to me cry, laugh and yell. Also for having to put up with his new driver instructor.

-My Mom and Dad who kept telling me to drive again. Thank goodness I listened because I might have never driven again. (I might have gone crazy if I didn't drive)

- For my Sister who always had great listening skills and thoughts. She was always there when I needed to unload

-To my Thompson family who help cover my shifts. There big hearts will never be forgotten. I really learned that we are really one big family and when you need something they will be there.

- FRIENDS I could not have gotten through this time without you guys. Words can't express how thankful I am to have you.

-Courtney you have gone above and beyond, being there in the middle of the night, listening to me cry, laugh and drive my ass around. Plus there is a million more things I could have listed.

Please keep his family in your thoughts this week.

The Update

Sam has finished his last day of preschool today. Not sure if I am crying because he is my baby or that I am not going to have the Tue/ Thur mornings to myself. We had a nice picnic at the church and played games. I got my little book that the teachers made all about Sam it was awesome. On Tue we registered Sam for the UPK class or the good start program will not know which one for a little bit.
Sam made out great yesterday at Dr Kaza office. The tubes are doing there job. Thank heavens.

Andrew is testing my parenting skills because he has decided not to write his assignments in his agenda. Not only that, he has not been doing his homework and the teacher tells me almost a week later. Andrew is now grounded and not liking it.

Josh went to see Dr Kumata today and liked him a lot and not sure if he needs Miss Sara anymore.

I have a week of and am going to enjoy every moment of it.

Mothers Day

Sam had his Mother Day Tea today, I had been waiting for this for a couple of weeks. I been through this twice each time my mom has also gone however she needed to go to P.T. for her knee today. This was a sad but fun day Sam was such a grouch he would not even sing for me and cried almost half the time. However he was very excited to give me his gift which I could not wait to have. This makes the hand wall of fame. They each made me a hand print on fabric. I have to find a new spot because Sam will not fit with the others. Then we had some tea and cookies which they made for us.

The worst part was when some dumb bitch didn't say anything after her son waled a hot wheel car and hit Sam in the face. He has a small red mark on his face from it. I was trying to be the better mom and said nothing. My friend Courtney said something to the mother and she blew her off and praised her son. I not sure what happened to discipline but I sure that there is none in that family.

I hope everyone has a Happy Mother's Day.

The Doctor Day

Today was the day that Sam had to have his 3rd set of tubes. What a change we saw right away. He has been very nasty for the last 3 weeks. I was so ready to leave him at the curb. Andrew went to strong and has grown 1/2 in. and gained 3/4 of a pound in 3 months. He had to have more testing because they are not sure where he is at with puberty and if some else might be going on so the waiting game is on. The hope is that we will know more by next Thurday. The best part of the day was when I got a 2hr nap.
